I say try, because it can be difficult to let go of what you have been told your whole life is "normal." We are finding our own path, even if slowly, and we are enjoying it so much!

Reading how articulate and well-spoken this lovely young lady is, is nothing BUT encouraging to me!! :)

Thanks!
Katie
Trying to transition two boys, ages 11 and 6, from homeschooling to unschooling...and loving the results (and the stress-relief!) so far!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17720459597404449811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805323468407241809.post-84466076163325558162010-12-22T07:47:02.811-05:002010-12-22T07:47:02.811-05:00Loved reading it - will post a translation on my b...Loved reading it - will post a translation on my blog, if that's ok with you. He is now 16 and has learnt so much more in the last five years than he could ever have learnt at school and he is HAPPY!
I now unschool my three younger children and we all love it.Ariadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10664753428007951602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805323468407241809.post-28484737105537702362010-12-19T14:26:44.042-05:002010-12-19T14:26:44.042-05:00Thanks for bringing Cheyenne's story to us all...Thanks for bringing Cheyenne's story to us all. They say thing that are "out of the norm" for most people their age - ie those who have been "educated" in public schools.

It makes me sad that my daughter will never have this opportunity - she lives with her father who can't comprehend anything but public school. But, I rejoice in the knowledge that I'm giving my son this option.

** We often forget that life is just another form of live. How sad it is that people forget to LIVE.Momma Jadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03941135372493466123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8805323468407241809.post-82852824830180660312010-12-17T16:11:24.264-05:002010-12-17T16:11:24.264-05:00"Only you can define your life."
